What is a Finnish sauna and how does it differ from other sauna types?

A Finnish sauna is a traditional cabin operating at very high temperatures, up to around 100°C, with low humidity of about 10-20%. In our facilities we use electric stoves or wood-fired heaters. They provide intense, dry body warming.

What wood are the Drewnolandia saunas made of?

We use Scandinavian timber for the frame. The external facade is made from durable pine. The cabin interiors, including comfortable benches and platforms, are finished with knot-free alder wood. This material does not release sticky resin under high temperatures.

How many people can use the sauna at the same time?

Capacity directly depends on the chosen model and cabin dimensions. Compact versions of 2.5×2.5 m fit 4 to 6 people. We can also comfortably execute much larger projects upon the client’s request.

Does the sauna require special ground preparation?

Absolutely every freestanding sauna needs a level, hardened foundation. Clients most often pour a concrete slab, lay paving, or build a foundation from blocks. We provide technical guidelines and floor plans to facilitate earthworks.

Is sauna assembly complicated?

This process is entirely handled by the Drewnolandia team. We efficiently carry out the entire installation at the client’s site. We arrive with prepared, ready-to-install structural elements and leave a finished, ready-to-use facility on the site.

What does the sauna come with?

The standard package from our offer includes an efficient stove, a set of solid light-ash benches, safe tempered-glass doors, and LED lighting. We include professional ventilation and a starter kit of accessories. We tailor specific devices based on your preferences.
