Modular wooden cabins – where to start?
Do you own a plot situated in an incredibly picturesque location and plan to create your own holiday resort? Do you want to turn renting holiday cottages to tourists into a source of income? If so, our wooden houses for rent are just for you – you should begin turning your plan into reality by consulting with the experts from Drewnolandia!
We offer you variegated, size-differentiated Canadian-style buildings. They are fully adapted for use by several to even several dozen people, depending on the model, guests’ needs and the investment budget.
Modular houses in our offer – a few essential facts right at the start!
As mentioned earlier, all modular holiday cottages and wooden houses for rent are prepared in a raw closed standard. This means they lack thermal insulation (isolation) and electrical, plumbing or heating installations. However, they come with a few ready-made additions that allow, in a simple and quick way, to convert them into all-year-round houses when needed. This way, vacationers will be able to visit you even in autumn or winter! Therefore we carried out several preparatory steps in these cottages, which we outline below – remember, all of this is to make future work easier for you.
- We installed floor insulation – which means that modular holiday cottages already have the most difficult element to insulate. You will only need to insulate the walls and roof, which you can easily do yourself or with the help of a subcontractor. You can handle it right after construction or later. Of course, you can also commission this work to us. A quote for such a service will be provided individually upon similar inquiries.
- We insulated the entrance doors – while all interior doors are wooden and designed in the standard typical for rental recreational cottages, the exterior doors are already adapted to the so-called all-year standard. The solid steel frame includes a multilanguage lock with anti-burglary features, and inside the entire unit has been filled with insulation material ensuring thermal tightness.
- We equipped modular houses with double-glazed PVC windows – classic single-glazed wooden windows work well in a holiday standard. They are not fully tight and cause interior heating to occur faster in summer and heat loss to accelerate in cooler periods. PVC windows with insulated glass solve this troublesome issue. With full tightness and thermal properties, they are an indispensable element of every all-year building.
- Transport nationwide – regardless of which part of Poland your plot is located in – we will come to you! Our company transports ready-made modules to the place you specify. It’s worth noting that the cost of each building in this category already includes this service.
- Installation – of building a modular home is also on us! You don’t have to worry about organizing a construction site and a crew of workers. The price we quote for each building of this type for rent also includes professional installation by a qualified assembly team on behalf of the producer – in this case Drewnolandia. We know prefab homes inside out.

What are modular houses made of?
Modular wooden cottages made from pine and spruce. The combination of these two wood species gives the structure a unique natural look, and also provides exceptional resistance to various unfavorable weather conditions. It performs well in tough weather, such as autumn rain and snow, or strong summer sun. Moreover, this wood is resistant to moisture, making it an ideal material for modular cottages.
Advantages of modular homes
A modular home built in a factory is then delivered to the place where it will be installed. Such a solution offers a range of benefits, some of which are below!
- Modular buildings usually cost less than traditional homes due to savings from mass production and skilled labor specialization. Additionally, on-site construction is not as big an undertaking as building walls. This translates into much less waste and lower labor costs.
- Because the elements are manufactured in a factory, building modular holiday homes is much faster than traditional ones.
- Modular homes are built in controlled factory conditions, which means they are less exposed to weather-related issues such as moisture and rain that can affect on-site construction quality. Moreover factories often use precise cutting and assembly machines, resulting in a high level of accuracy and quality.
- In our company, we offer project personalization. This means you can design your home according to your preferences. You will choose the layout, finish, and other conveniences. Everything will be done under the supervision of our experts.
Modular cabins – price
The price of a modular home depends strongly on its size, as well as the concrete specifications and materials used.
- For example, small rental cabins with a floor area of 32 m2 may cost up to around 75 thousand PLN.
- Larger constructions from 40 m2 or 50 m2 usually have a price from 110 to 133 thousand PLN.
- For cabins with an area 80 m2 it may be about 219 thousand PLN.
- For the largest ones with an area 120 m2 the cost is about 450 thousand PLN.
It’s worth remembering that the given prices are indicative. The price of constructing a specific structure depends on many factors, including the specifics of the chosen project, materials and additions. It’s also important to decide whether you’re interested in year‑round modular homes or holiday homes. Moreover, costs such as installation and transport of the cabin are quoted individually based on the requirements and conditions.
Why is it worth insulating ready modular cabins?
Adapting a building to a year‑round form has many advantages, the most important being the ability to rent it to tourists not only in spring and summer but also in autumn and winter. A year‑round modular home is becoming an increasingly common way to spend winter holidays or even family holidays. Insulation adds another benefit – it increases comfort during summer as well. An wool-insulated cabin absorbs heat more slowly, so even in hot summer a comfortable temperature is maintained inside the building.
We therefore produce ready year‑round and holiday modular homes. We know that thermal insulation is one of the most valued features of our wooden homes.
