Warranty and workmanship quality

Workmanship quality

Naturally, wood changes over time.

Wood is a natural product. Its durability, the possibility of versatile processing, and its natural and unique character make it one of the most commonly used natural raw materials in construction.

Greying of wood

Greying of wood

Wood, as a natural material, undergoes volumetric changes depending on humidity: swelling and shrinking. With a tight assembly of wood (e.g. tongue and groove), shrinkage and the resulting formation of gaps in the joints must be taken into account.

Natural cracks

Natural cracks

The structure of wood is varied, which causes uneven shrinkage processes as it dries. This process causes cracks, fissures and warping, slight curvatures and twists. Careful selection of the timber raw material used is not able to prevent this type of process.

Knots and visible irregularities

Knots and visible irregularities

Knots and the texture of wood are natural features and may differ depending on the type and origin of the tree and its growth conditions. The number and size of healthy, firmly grown knots are not subject to any limitations. During the processing of wood in the area of knots, when working against the direction of the wood grain, head rounding or cross cutting, rough surfaces and slight fraying may occur.

Resin leaks

Resin leaks

Resin leaks in coniferous wood are a natural process that we are unable to prevent. They also occur on painted wooden elements, which reduces aesthetics and is troublesome. Such stains and leaks can be removed on your own using, for example, a sharp tool and appropriate chemical agents.

Blue discolouration

Blue discolouration

Blue discolouration of raw wood most often appears in the form of stripes. The cause of this process is the action of low-harm fungi, which have no effect on structural properties. After impregnation, this process stops and does not affect the durability of the material on which it appeared.

Warranty extension

Extended warranty – 36 months

Method I – advertising banner

On the day the installation work on your property is completed, you will receive from Drewnolandia's employees a small, aesthetic advertising banner to be placed on the fence of your plot, in a spot visible to passers-by. The banner will be secured with a cable tie bearing the manufacturer's seal and will have to remain in place for the entire duration of the extended warranty.

Method II – share your opinion, show off your project!

We care about your opinion of us, which is why we want to encourage you to fill in a short survey about our work and leave a review via Google. We would also like to show the world your project. To do this, we need 10 photographs of it from you – 5 taken during installation and another 5 of the finished construction. Not necessarily immediately after it has been built; if you want to show off the fully finished construction, take a photo of it once it is ready for use. Your photographs will go to the "realisations" section on www.drewnolandia.pl as well as to the company profile on Facebook.

Extended warranty – 48 months

4 years of peaceful sleep? Nothing simpler! All you have to do is use both methods of extending the warranty described in the previous point. Use our advertising banner and share your opinion and photographs, and the 48-month warranty will be yours!
