Since it7s a holiday cabin, it may be used in summer, but the local climate also invites relaxation in spring or autumn, and even winter, when frosts haven t yet discouraged us from staying indoors. However, heating is needed, and we also offer it as a paid option for each of our holiday cabins. What does such a heating system include? And which heating is best for a holiday cabin? What to choose to keep heating affordable?
All-year cabin and its heating - an external stainless steel chimney is essential
Insulated chimneys are standalone chimney systems that do not require a brick flue or a foundation. They are built from double-walled pipes filled with mineral wool insulation. As a result they don t need extra shielding and can be placed against the wall or other outdoor devices.
Insulated chimneys - are used for venting exhaust gases from boilers and heating appliances for fuels such as coal, coke, wood and other solid energy fuels. Insulated chimneys have applications in residential as well as industrial construction. They are fully weather-resistant. They ensure a safe external wall temperature, are non-flammable and safe in case of chimney soot fire, and resistant to condensate deposits.
This solution can be applied on both gable and eave walls of the roof. Regardless of which fireplace we choose for the holiday cabin, the chimney will allow effective exhaust of its fumes.

Attention!
- We use this type of chimney only when the roof is covered with bituminous shingles. We do not install chimneys if the wooden cabin has a roof covered with sheet metal roofing.
- This is strictly a chimney for venting smoke from the fireplace. It is not for heating.
So which heating to choose for a wooden holiday cabin? Well, to heat the wooden holiday cabin efficiently and affordably, we offer several options.
How to heat a cabin on the plot? One solution is a fireplace
A fireplace is one of the more popular options. It is important to use a firebox insert to boost heating efficiency. An additional heat distribution system will help maintain a comfortable temperature in all rooms. The downside? You need to constantly add wood to keep the fire going.
Freestanding stove, i.e. a koza, in a wooden holiday cabin
Heating a holiday cabin or a garden gazebo with a so-called koza is an affordable and effective option. The koza stove is not only a way to heat the holiday cabin but also a stylish decorative element. A freestanding wood-burning koza is economical to operate and takes up less space than a fireplace. Additionally, the koza stove helps create a warm atmosphere in the room where it stands.
Drewnolandia offers (as an optional add-on) freestanding stove model KOZA K5 fi150, from kratki.pl.

Technical data for the freestanding stove:
- Nominal power (kW): 7,0
- Heating power range (kW): 5.5 - 9.0
- Thermal efficiency (%): 76,0
- Exhaust diameter (mm): 150
- Width (cm): 45,20
- Height (cm): 62,8
- Depth (cm): 40,60
What other ways to heat a holiday cabin or gazebo? Perhaps an electric heater
Electric heating for a holiday cabin is an interesting alternative to the classic chimney-and-stove system, especially for those who value convenience.
