Many of our clients wonder what the process of building a holiday cabin at the designated site looks like. What work is done on site? How long does it take? How should you prepare for the assembly? What about the foundation for the ordered structure? We’re here to clarify this full set of interesting questions.
Each of our holiday cabins and all-year cabins is already pre-assembled at the production stage. This approach allows us to perform the work with the utmost attention to detail and in indoor conditions, which would be impossible on a construction site, even due to weather. It also enables us to considerably shorten the entire construction process. We respect our clients’ time and do not keep them waiting long.
The first step is preparing the foundation for the structure. If it’s already ready—problem solved; if not yet, our installers will take care of it in a blink of an eye with the help of concrete blocks. The site for the structure just needs to be fairly level and clear of obstacles—stones, shrubs, tall grass. A good idea is also to get agro-textile, which in the future will prevent grass from appearing, for example, between the terrace boards.
After unloading the elements and inspecting them by the investor, the installers proceed with the construction. Work begins with the floor and gradually climbs upward. Walls, terrace, mezzanine or attic, and finally the roof, which in the final phase is covered with bitumen shingles, are built. Small finishing touches, trim pieces and decorative accents complete the whole thing
An experienced and cohesive installation team can erect small and mid-sized structures in 1-2 days, while the largest ones should not take more than 3-4 days. That’s all that stands between you and a new home!
