Why you should avoid the cheapest offers and how to look for high-quality wooden products.
We often get asked what to look for when choosing wooden products and what to pay attention to. And we consistently answer – the quality of the wood, the quality of the additional components and the quality of the workmanship.
And then we add that, just like in any other field, what is very cheap ultimately proves expensive. Therefore, when ordering a wooden structure, don’t look for the cheapest offers. And what should you pay attention to?
Wood quality
The wood we use for our structures is legally sourced from the State Forests. It is certified wood and carefully selected. Drying is very important to us. To do it properly, you need extensive knowledge and experience. Therefore, we choose our suppliers very carefully. All our structures are made from timber dried in a chamber process. More about this drying method you’ll find in the post: What is chamber drying of wood?
Quality of additional components
Because we attach great importance to the quality of our final products, the quality of the extra elements we use is important to us. Therefore, for wood processing we use machines and devices from reputable brands such as Festool, Makita, Bosch. We use high-quality insulation and fillings from Isover and wood preservatives and paints from Drewnochron and Tikkurila. We also choose high-quality shingles, screws, nails and fasteners. We don’t cut costs on materials because we know that the impressive final effect is built from details and care at every stage of the process.
Quality of workmanship
We have the knowledge and experience to raise garden gazebos, holiday cabins and carports that serve owners for many years – pleasing the eye and fulfilling their functions.
We are so confident in them that we offer a real warranty. It can easily be extended up to 3 years – at no extra cost (write to us if you want to learn how to do it).
And if a complaint arises – we never evade responsibility. The good opinion of our customers (see: References) is very important to us. And we work on it, taking care of every detail – from choosing the best raw materials and additional elements to the quality of workmanship and installation.
What are the consequences of choosing the cheapest offer?
A structure erected without attention to the wood quality and individual components, assembled carelessly – is not built to last. After a few months it may start leaking or show other faults. It might also topple in strong winds and cause damage.
